How to install it.
Prerequisites, file setup, and Discord license activation.
You need first
ScriptHookV.dll and ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll (SHVDN Enhanced) in your main GTA V folder. Not inside the scripts folder.
Put in scripts
PoliceV.dll, LemonUI.SHVDN3.dll, iFruitAddon2.dll, NAudio.dll, and the whole PoliceV folder.
Activate license
Go to the Discord server, run the /generate command with the wxckray bot to get your key, and paste it into license.txt inside the PoliceV folder.
Start the game
Wait a few seconds after loading in. When you see "PoliceV Initialized" and a Mission Row blip on the map, you're in.
Go on duty first.
Off duty the mod stays quiet. Radio, ped talk and menus only work once you put the uniform on.
Deploy rules
You must pick a secondary pistol. If you own any armor, you have to pick one of those too.
End of shift
Duty menu, then Finish Shift. Drive the cruiser back to the return point, get out and walk to the marker. You're a civilian again.
While on duty
You get no wanted level, cops leave you alone, and your loadout is kept in check the whole time.
The keys.
Most keys only work while on duty. F5 also needs you sitting in your patrol car.

Look at a ped, press Y and speak. They hear you and answer out loud. Their mouth moves while they talk. They also do what you tell them, and they stay put the whole time.
Just ask
"What's your name?" "Where are you going?" "Do you have a gun permit?" Questions get answers, nothing more.
Documents
Say "hand me your ID" and you get the card on screen. Say "give me everything" and you get all three at once.
Let them go

Special callouts
Medical Emergency
Overdoses, suicides, and casualties. No suspects on scene — request EMS or Air Medevac and secure the perimeter.
Roadside Breakdowns
Stalled traffic, blown tires, and road hazards. Call in flatbeds or heavy wreckers to clear lanes and impound vehicles.
Arson & Vehicle Fires
Active blazes and combustion. Keep a safe perimeter and summon the Fire Department immediately to extinguish flames.
Narcotics In-Progress
Live street transactions and dealer-buyer exchanges. Move in, seize illicit substances, and detain all parties.
DUI Interceptions
Impaired and erratic motorists on city streets. Conduct field sobriety checks, breathalyzers, and oral drug swabs.
High-Speed Pursuits
Fleeing suspects actively evading law enforcement. Disable the getaway vehicle and apprehend the runners on foot.
- Replay completed callouts at any time to sharpen your patrol skills.
- Stay marked 10-8 on the radio to keep incoming dispatches rolling steadily.
- Respond quickly to active calls to prevent scenes from expiring.
From arrest to booking.
How to take a suspect down, search them and get them booked.
Ways a suspect gives up
| How | What happens |
|---|---|
| Aim at them and press E | They give up and put their hands up. If they're in a car, they get out. You need to be near them |
| Taser | They drop, lose their weapon and give up |
| Shoot them | If they're hurt badly, they give up |
| Knock them over | Any fall, tackle or car hit. Once they get up, they give up |
| Wreck their car | The engine dies and they run on foot |
Steps after arrest
Evidence
- On murder calls, check the body first. Stand next to it and hold E for a few seconds. Markers only show up after that.
- Gold cylinders and cones mark guns, casings, blood and packages. Hold E on each one for a few seconds to bag it.
- Collect everything and dispatch sends forensics, then points you to the suspect.
- Evidence is a good chunk of your pay. Leave it behind and you'll notice.
Trainee to Captain.
Every call pays money and XP. Money buys gear. You start with $20,000.
| Rank | XP needed | Base pay | Backup slots |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trainee | 0 | $450 | 0 |
| Police Officer I | 2,000 | $700 | 1 |
| Police Officer II | 6,000 | $1,100 | 2 |
| Police Officer III | 14,000 | $1,600 | 3 |
| Sergeant I | 28,000 | $2,200 | 5 |
| Lieutenant | 50,000 | $3,200 | 8 |
| Captain | 85,000 | $4,800 | 12 |
Outfits
Trainee is free, SWAT costs $45,000. You need the right rank and enough closed cases for each one. You can preview before buying.
Patrol cars
Cruiser, unmarked, interceptor and more. Whichever one you pick is what spawns when you deploy.
Weapons
Pistols to marksman rifles, some suppressed. You have to own what you deploy with.
Armor
Basic 25% for $4,000 up to Riot 100% for $16,000.
Road tools.
Set up barriers and cones, or just tell traffic what to do. All from the G menu or by voice.
Road management
7 placeable props: barriers, cones, tape. Free camera with WASD and mouse, full rotation and distance control.
Traffic control
Normal, slowed or stopped, in a big circle around you. Cars stop at your barriers instead of driving through.
Cleanup
One command clears every cone and barrier and lets traffic move again.
- By voice: "stop traffic", "slow traffic", "resume traffic", "open road management", "clear road props".
- Traffic control skips you, your car, emergency units, suspects and tow trucks.
- Put the cones down first, then set traffic to stopped. Works better that way.
Units you can call.
Every unit is one voice command or one click in the G menu away.
| Unit | What arrives | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Backup | Cruiser and 2 officers, Code 2 or Code 3 | Up to 6 at a time. They surround anyone still fighting |
| SWAT | RIOT van and 2 tactical officers with rifles | Needs street room. Don't call it in an alley |
| EMS | Ambulance and 2 paramedics | Treat the injured, call the coroner, finish medical calls |
| Air medevac | Medic helicopter that hovers above you, 2 medics rope down | Same job as EMS, from the sky |
| Fire dept | Fire engine and 2 firefighters | They put out fires nearby. The only thing that stops arson calls |
| Tow truck | Flatbed, rural tow or heavy wrecker | Picks the vehicle up and takes it to impound. One truck per vehicle |
| Prisoner transport | Van and a driver | Loads your cuffed suspect and drives them to the station |
- If a suspect keeps fighting, officers surround them and shout "SURRENDER NOW" to give them one last chance.
- Units that get stuck driving to you find another way on their own.
- Cancel any unit by name, or say "all units stand down" to cancel everything.
